NOTICE – DRAFT 3RD IDP REVIEW-BUDGET-ANNUAL REPORT

Approval of Draft 3rd IDP Review 2020/21

Notice is hereby given that the Draft Third Integrated Development Plan (IDP) Review 2020/2021, Draft Three-Year Budget/MTREF 2020-2021/2022-2023 and the Annual Report 2018/2019 of the Overberg District Municipality have been adopted by Council on 25 March 2020.

 

The Draft Third IDP Review can be viewed HERE. Comment, input or representations should be sent by no later than 8 May 2020 to vanessa@odm.org.za.

The Draft Three-Year Budget/MTREF 2020-2021/2022-2023 can be viewed HERE. Comment, input or representations should be sent by no later than 8 May 2020 to cfo@odm.org.za.

The Annual Report 2018/2019 can be viewed HERE. Enquiries may be directed to mdunn@odm.org.za.

 

Due to the current threat of Covid-19, hard copies can unfortunately not be made available to the public for inspection. However, if and when the lockdown period ends, copies will be made available at the Head Office of Overberg District Municipality, Regional Offices, Local Municipalities, Libraries and Thusong Centres across the region.

 

Communities will be kept informed as to when and where assistance can be provided with the formulating of inputs and representations.

If your staff members need to get to work, here’s what you must do: Complete THIS letter, including your staff’s Identity Document (ID) number on the document. They must carry this letter with them, with their ID (no copies please) to show at the roadblocks that will be stationed across the Overberg. PLEASE, only mornings in and evenings out.

CORONAVIRUS: COVID-19 LATEST

FIRST CASES OF COVID-19 IN THE OVERBERG

We have 4 confirmed positive cases of the #Coronavirus in the #Overberg. 

These are the first positive cases recorded in the district. All necessary precautions are being taken, and the individuals are in self-isolation. The authorities are aware of the situation and are following up with those who may have been in contact with these people. 

PLEASE NOTE: If you suspect you may have COVID-19, please call the provincial hotline on 021 928 4102. There is also an online screening tool which can provide guidance: https://www.westerncape.gov.za/department-of-health/risk-assessment-form
