MALGAS FERRY CLOSED - 9 April 2024
Please note that the Pont/Ferry at Malgas is not operational until further notice due to a mechanical break that needs to be repaired.
Furthermore, it is planned to have the annual hull inspection done by SAMSA at the same time.
Due to the current weather conditions and the river levels that have risen significantly, the ferry will be taken out of the water and anchored up the access slope for the repairs and hull inspection.
Unfortunately, no time period can be attached to the repair of the mechanical problem. During this period the ferry will not be able to take vehicles and passengers across the river.

NOTICE OF CANCELLATION OF FORMAL QUOTATION
Please be advised that the following formal quotation will be cancelled.
Q13-2023/24: MANUFACTURING AND INSTALLATION OF FENCING AND ELECTRONIC GATES AT THE HEAD OFFICE OF OVERBERG DISTRICT MUNICIPALITY
The formal quotation will be cancelled due to the incorrect specifications in the document. A new RFQ will be advertised in due course and bidders will be notified accordingly.
